David Mould

David Mould has more than 20 years’ experience in training and curriculum development in communication for development (C4D), development journalism, and international media.  He headed Ohio University’s Communication and Development Studies post-graduate program and led the team that developed and delivered a UNICEF blended learning course on C4D, completed by more than 400 staff. Currently, he directs a UNICEF project to develop C4D curriculum and research capacity at universities in Bangladesh.  David has worked on contracts for USAID, UNESCO, FHI 360, Population Reference Bureau, Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development, and the Open Society Institute. He has held Fulbright Fellowships in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan and worked in Central, South and Southeast Asia and southern Africa. A former newspaper reporter and TV journalist, David is the author of four books. He holds a Ph.D. and is Professor Emeritus of Media Arts and Studies at Ohio University.
