Marie Angeline Aquino-Tiongco

Marie Angeline Aquino-Tiongco is a public health professional, specializing in global health. She is particularly experienced in working with maternal and child health, child protection and education initiatives. This includes undertaking analysis of how birth registration and health systems integrate around the world.

Matching her passion for sustainability and social justice, Marie Angeline has extensive experience with innovative collaboration approaches, and with public health surveillance, community based participatory research, and programme management.

She is a Filipino-American based in New York. Prior to becoming an independent consultant, she was a Director of an after-school enrichment program for elementary school children in Queens. She also worked on the development of anti-bullying campaign, implemented by the inspirational New York and in New Jersey based grassroots organization, Ugnayan Youth.
