Sakina Sakerwalla
Sakina Sakerwalla is a sustainable development expert with two decades of experience with international development organisations across the globe. She is also a trained life and professional coach. She has lived in Cambodia for 11 years, working with Plan International and Save the Children on human rights issues. Her behavior-change communications work there focused on children’s rights and youth participation.
Increasingly concerned with environmental challenges, Sakina joined Conservation International’s effort to curb climate change, working to support its fundraising, partnership and program development across the Asia-Pacific region. A Swedish national, Sakina holds a double Bachelor Degree in Political Science and Economic History. In her free time, when she is not spending time with her family, she can be found running the jungle trails around Singapore.
