Eduardo Bustelo, presente!

A memorial service was held last week in Buenos Aires for our dear friend and colleague Eduardo Bustelo.

Organized by UNICEF and several other organizations, the event ended with the screening of a stirring video highlighting Eduardo’s long and distinguished career in UNICEF, in academia and as a member of Congress in his native province of San Juan.

In the last year of his life — even after he fell ill — Eduardo kindly advised us on several projects and we invited him to join the Rain Barrel Associates Program.  His thinking and his example on issues of children’s rights will continue to guide us.
